Customer service and table management
Once you apply for Menumiz service for your restaurant, you need to configure your restaurant in the system. During configuration, you have this option to put tables in a layout and allocate a number to each so that customer service could recognize each order visually from the screen. The layout provides comprehensive information about the customers including the name of the guest, their profile pictures, number of guests, the order status, the billing, any assistance requested and payment status.
Other option is having a general QR code and let the customer key in the table number manually upon scanning the QR code. (The table number should be presented already on the table in this case).
Remember in both configurations, system could be adjusted to ask for payment immediately after order (Pay As Ordered) or pay after serving (Pay As Served).
Also, a QR code for takeaway orders could be generated. In a situation where the customer must collect food from the counter (in a self service set up or takeaway), a notification is sent from kitchen to customer device when the order is ready and the order number will be displayed on a monitor for customers.
